Social media camp in Patchogue
Some 250 "twits" and "non twits" - those on twitter and those not - are expected today at the first Social Media Camp Long Island.
It's a chance for people who meet through social media to connect face to face, as well as to help others learn the ropes, said Jeff Namnum, lead organizer, as he set up this morning at St Josephs College in Patchogue. (That's the hand-written description of one session posted this morning, at left.)
Subjects range from the effects of social media on jornalism to how to write an effective Linkedin profile.
