Star to stop at Manhasset shop
"Desperate Housewives" actress Eva Longoria Parker will stop by next week at London Jewelers in Manhasset to promote a new line of jewelry including "show-stopping" ruby chandelier earrings.
The 3 p.m. Oct. 30 event at the 2046 Northern Blvd. Shop will benefit the Rally with Kids for Cancer Foundation, a charity the actress co-chairs with jeweler Loren Ridinger.
The Manhasset event will highlight Loren Jewels, maker of the ruby earrings — which Longoria Parker wore to the 2010 Emmy Awards show, above left.
Loren Jewels says in a news release that its jewelry “is considered a must have by Hollywood's elite. Eva Longoria Parker, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, Joel Madden, Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, Paulina Rubio and Marc Anthony are among those often seen wearing Loren Jewels."
