The state's primary business development agency has launched a new website that it says offers a complete resource for companies expanding in or moving to the state.
The site is www.NYfirst.NY.gov.
It guarantees that a New York State expert will respond quickly by e-mail or phone to any inquiry.
"Our 'Experts on Demand' commitment: we personally guarantee that every e-mail or phone call we receive will get a response within one business day," the state's Empire State Development agency said in a news release.
"New York First articulates, 'here's what New York can do for you,' " Gov. David Paterson said in a prepared statement.
The site has information from and links to 35 agencies.
It includes a business resource center cataloging development incentives by category; and a regional guide developed by the nonprofit www.BUZgate.org. Also, a mobile app for smart phones is available.
The site's toll-free number is 800-STATE-NY.
