State workshop for exporters at Long Island Forum for Technology

State officials will hold a workshop for local exporters on Monday about a new loan and grant program.

The free session will run from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Long Island Forum for Technology, 510 Grumman Rd. West in Bethpage.

The speakers will include Erin Cole, of the Global NY program, and Cara Longworth, Long Island regional director for Empire State Development, the state’s primary business-aid agency.

They will outline how small- and medium-sized businesses and the nonprofits can apply for money from the $35 million Global NY Fund.
