Suffolk County is expected Friday to unveil a jobs website, focused on positions in science, technology, engineering, math and manufacturing.
County Executive Steve Bellone will visit Photonics Industries International to announce the website.
The Bohemia firm recently received tax breaks from the county’s Industrial Development Agency for an $6.3 million expansion project.
The website has been developed by the IDA. County officials said the site would initially have more than 115 job listings, many of them from Photonics.
The IDA requires companies receiving its help to post job openings on the new website.
Nassau County already has a similar website as part of its Nassau Works initiative. Click here http://nassau.tweetmyjobs.com/ for further information.
