Surgical company makes China deal

Farmingdale-based Misonix Inc. has a new, exclusive distributor to market and sell several of its surgical products in China.

Misonix, which bills itself as "a developer of state of the art, ultrasonic medical device technology", set the term of the agreement to three years.

Its new partner is CICEL Enterprise Co. Ltd., of Beijing. The sales territory includes all of China, including Hong Kong, and includes annual minimum purchase requirements.

It will work with the following Misonix products: SonaStar Ultrasonic Surgical Aspirator, the BoneScalpel Ultrasonic Bone Cutter, and the SonicOne Ultrasonic Wound Debrider.
