Tax breaks for a proposed movie theater in Lynbrook are the subject of a public hearing Friday morning.
The hearing, by the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency, will start at 10 a.m. in Lynbrook Village Hall, 1 Columbus Dr.
Blumenfeld Development Group of Syosset and the Prusik Group of Manhattan are seeking help for a $25 million theater that will have 13 screens and 1,600 seats.
The 80,000-square-foot facility replaces a movie theater that is nearly a century old at 321 Merrick Rd.
