TD Bank to open 53rd and 54th LI branches

TD Bank will open its 1,300th and 1,301st branch locations this weekend with two new sites on Long Island.

The two new offices will be located at 540 Jericho Tpke. in Syosset and 1354 Hicksville Rd. in Massapequa.

The bank, which services customers along the East Coast, has held activities this week to promote their opening. On Wednesday, bank employees spent an hour in areas near the new branch locations to buy surprise breakfast and other treats for the local community.

This Saturday, there will be further grand opening celebrations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both locations. The event will include snacks and raffle prizes.

The two locations on Long Island are part of 30 new openings this year for TD Bank. With the openings, there will be 54 TD Bank branches on Long Island. The bank is based in New Jersey and Maine, and is part of the Toronto-Dominion Bank in Canada.
