Teachers credit union to host concert and fireworks

Hauppauge-based Teachers Federal Credit Union is hosting a concert and fireworks show for the public Saturday in Farmingville.
The show in the Pennysaver Amphitheater in the Bald Hill Cultural Park will start at 5 p.m. Local act Captain Don and the Toucan Band will be on hand to perform live music. Fireworks are expected to start around 7:15 p.m.
TFCU was started in 1952 by a group of Long Island teachers. Today, it has 23 branches, about 227,000 members and more than $4.6 billion in assets. The member-owned bank is open to all residents of Nassau and Suffolk counties.
The concert and fireworks are free and open to the public. Seating is limited. The park is along Patchogue-Mount Sinai Road. Find directions here.
