UPDATE: Levy spokesman Dan Aug today announced that the event had been "postponed to a future date." Aug's announcement came less than 45 minutes before Levy was to visit the Bay Shore company.

A+ Technology and Security Solutions Inc., will play host to Suffolk Executive Steve Levy Tuesday as it vies for a state grant to provide wireless and computer security services at an East End airport.

Levy’s office announced he would tour the company’s Bay Shore headquarters in support of its effort to do work at the Hamptons Business & Technology Park at Gabreski Airport in Southampton. Levy has been a strong proponent of the new business park.

A+ Technology has done work at Long Island MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma and at  public schools.

Two years ago, Suffolk leased approximately 50 acres at Gabreski to Rechler Equity Partners for 40 years, with a renewal option for an additional 40 years. The property is to be re-developed into a business park comprising 435,000 square feet of new construction. More than 600 people are expected to work at the facility.
