What do you get when you combine the godfather of modern day comic books, the Cartoon Network, an Austrian accent, a former California governor, "The Terminator," "True Lies" gadgetry, and "The Transformers"? A new cartoon superhero series called "The Governator. Duh.

Former California governor and action star Arnold Schwarzenegger teamed up with Spider-Man creator Stan Lee to bring us a TV show that seems like an SNL TV Funhouse skit.

The gist of the animated series mixes Schwarzenegger's already cartoonish life with that of a real cartoon's premise -- an actor, turned governor, turned retiree is taking up a life of high-tech crime fighting and defending the world from alien machines.

The series will feature elements from Schwarzenegger's real personal life including his wife Maria Shriver and kids. Oh, and of course Schwarzenneger will be voicing his own character.

Expect "The Governator" to hit the Cartoon Network lineup later this year.

Check out the trailer below. Take notice of the kids locked up in his private cave, the ridiculous Black Eyed Peas music, and the random Larry King cameo.
