Buying ski tickets online, not on line

Hmm . . . which do we like more: discounted ski tickets or buying them in advance online? Liftopia.com aggregates ski resort deals and discounts, then lets you search by dates and regions -- you can expect to find ski resorts from Alaska to Austria.

This site is great for occasional skiers and snowboarders who don't have season passes and are willing to try different resorts if they find the right deals. Note that the discounts go beyond cheaper lift tickets. We found lift and rental combos that were cheaper than a regular lift ticket at Stowe Mountain Resort. Don't miss "Recent Top Deals," where we found discounts of more than 50 percent when buying two-day passes.
