Not to be confused with the recent video game releases, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions or Spider-Man: Edge of Time, New York City's favorite web slinger has another upcoming video game due out next summer alongside the Hollywood reboot of an all-new Spider-Man movie.

The Amazing Spider-Man is being made by Beenox, the same studio behind the two most recent Spider-Man games. Gerard Lehinay, the creative director introduced the game at a Marvel video games panel. "We brought back the city into Spider-Man games," he said. "For us it is important to be able to web-swing in the city. So that's one of the major things that we've been working on."

Most of these video games that are based off movies that are based off of comic books generally haven't worked out well. But according to Lehinay, this iteration of the video game is more than just an afterthought and has been in the works for over a year already.

Doug Heder of Activision introuded the trailer saying that everything you see is actual gameplay, not just cut-scenes.

The trailer itself hasn't been release officially on the internet, but you can catch a rough video recording from from the video game blog Kotaku.
