A vulnerability found in some Netgear home routers has caused the Department of Homeland Security to issue a warning that users should “strongly consider” not using the devices until a fix is available.

Netgear says at least 11 models are affected, and it is working on patches that will be released “as quickly as possible.”

The vulnerability could allow an attacker to remotely take over the router.
