European goverments advise users against Internet Explorer

Last week, a security flaw in Internet Explorer played a role in the recent computer attacks against Google and at least 20 other companies.
Microsoft aknowledged the incident and said the security hole can be closed by setting browser's Internet security zone to "high," effectively shutting off cookies and cache that speed up browsing. As a result of the constant security threats, the French and German governments have suggested to its citizens to stay away from Microsoft's Internet explorer.
As an alternative, internet users can use Firefox, one of the world's most widely downloaded browsers because of its security, ease of use, add-ons, and speed.
Google's Chrome, which has been reported to no be vulnerable to the same attack IE came under, is also available
