Facebook service inaccessible for some desktop, mobile users

Facebook Inc. has been unavailable for some users today.

The service was inaccessible from San Francisco and New York, among other areas. On Twitter Inc.’s service, “龜bookdown” was a trending topic in the United States, according to Twitter.

“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing Facebook,” Jay Nancarrow, a spokesman for Facebook said. “We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.”
