How to . . . get rid of clutter on you PC
Often without your knowledge, your PC is accumulating unneeded, space-taking and even dangerous files. Here's one way to remove them.
1. Go to piriform.com/ccleaner and download the free version of CCleaner. Install CCleaner (unless you want it, make sure to unclick the option that will also install the Google toolbar and make Chrome your primary Web browser).
2. Familiarize yourself with the software before running CCleaner by clicking the "Online Help" link on the bottom left of the opened program. You will find a basic tour, an FAQ section and other important information.
3. Click "Analyze" to see what will be removed during cleaning (e.g., temporary files, history, cookies, etc.). If you don't want something removed, unclick it on the left-hand panel. When you are satisfied with your settings, click "Run Cleaner" to remove files.
