How to . . . land a map on Google Earth
You might want to import a Google Map into Google Earth to see not only your directions, but also what your route will look like. (You need to have downloaded Google Earth.)
1. Open the map you want to view. Click "link" in top right corner of Google maps. You'll see a long link appear.
2. Add this (without the quotation marks) to the end of the link: "&output= kml"; copy entire link.
3. Paste entire long link into a new browser window, hit enter. Your map will open in Google Earth.
