REVIEW: Venetia has technical glitches
VENETICA
RATING T for Teen
PLOT A role-player with a lot of button-mashing
DETAILS Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, $40; PC, $30
BOTTOM LINE Disappointing
Set in Renaissance Venice, Venetica features technology that's antiquated. Gamers are left with a potentially engaging story ruined by bad presentation and technical glitches. You play as Scarlett - no, not O'Hara (though her feisty personality may have you thinking she's a distant relative). After her village is attacked and everyone is slain, you learn she is the daughter of Death. Daddy Death doesn't take the slaughter well, and sends Daughter Death on a quest for revenge.
