Snapchat tops Facebook, Twitter as teens' favorite

When teens hang out online, they are more likely to connect on Snapchat than Facebook.
A Piper Jaffray survey found that 35 percent of teenagers said Snapchat is their favorite social network, followed by Instagram (24 percent). Twitter and Facebook tied for third at 13 percent.
As for online shopping, the go-to destination for teens is Amazon (40 percent). No. 2 Nike was a distant second at 8 percent.
