This interesting little device, just unveiled at CES, combines a iPhone case with software to transform any iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS or iPhone 3G into a universal infrared remote control. Looks to be a cool little gadget. We’ll wait till its release to see if it works up to the hype. I’m not too keen on turning my iPhone into something its not, but considering universal remotes rarely live up to their promises, except for maybe the Logitech Harmony, it’s a cool idea worth a gander. The on screen display looks like it could use a bit more design and usability enhancements but hopefully by launch it will be a bit more polished.
