Ever seen one of those futuristic movies, like "Avatar" or "Star Trek," with those cool blue colors and touch controls?

Well this technology is already within reach. A company based in Portugal, DisplayX Interactive Systems, has come up with some astounding technology that will make science fiction a reality.

The technology is a paper-thin polymer infused with nano wires that detect anything from a person blowing air onto the surface to tactile touch. Microprocessors then sort out the electrical impulses and pinpoint the movement.

Looks as if the cubicles of tomorrow will be a whole lot cooler. Say goodbye to your mouse.
