After years of waiting, it seems like Verizon customers will finally get the iPhone. Speculation swirled around Apple and Verizon after the communications company announced it had a "major announcement" scheduled for Jan. 11.
The general consensus among the media and blogosphere is that Verizon's iPhone will be a CDMA version of the phone. Gizmodo reported that a white version of the phone might be available. The Wall Street Journal is also reporting that customers buying the iPhone will have an unilimited data plan available.
Verizon's iPhone is believed to be coming out in the first week of February.
Again, this is all speculation. We'll have to wait until tomorrow's 11 a.m. news conference for details.
