Video: BP robot tries and fails to cap Gulf oil leak
In late April, an oil rig explosion triggered a massive oil spill on the Gulf Coast. Three weeks and hundreds of thousands upon hundreds of thousands of gallons of oil later, the leak continues uncontrolled.
Scientists and engineers still don't know how to stop this thing. Here is footgage provided by BP showing what the leak looks like at its source and their attempt to cap it. Result? Epic fail.
