Web Sightings: Roomfor5 in Europe, U.S.

The family that stays together gets into less trouble on vacation. We hope. Roomfor5.co.uk was founded by Drina Murphy, a mother of three from South Yorkshire, England, and features more than 5,500 properties in Europe and the United States.

The hotel search results tell you exactly how your room accommodates a larger number of people. For example, Marriott's BeachPlace Towers in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., sleeps up to eight people in a two-bedroom villa with king beds in the two bedrooms and two additional sofa beds. (Take the prices with a grain of salt because they can vary by booking dates.) But searching for a single city or destination is not easy. You must pick the country, then the state or county, and then scroll through an alphabetical list of cities, or change the sorting feature.

It sure would be great if there were a search bar where you could simply input Dublin, Ireland; Barcelona, Spain; or Chicago.
