Wii joins Netflix offering instant streaming

Wii owners who enjoy Netflix rejoice! Wii has finally joined the party offering Netflix subscribers who own a Wii console instant streaming services.

Wii functionality is a bit different than Xbox or PS3. Instead of being available in the console menus, Wii owners will need to pop in a CD provided by Netflix to cue up the Netflix streaming menu. Owners will need their Wii connected to the Internet. Discs will be available April 12 at no additional charge from Netflix. To get started, Netflix members and Wii owners can reserve a free-instant streaming disc by going to www.netflix.com/Wii.
