Douglas C. Manditch, of St. James, was honored last month at Uniondale-based Telecare TV’s 31st annual Golf Classic for his “deep commitment to people in need and to the community of Long Island and beyond.”

Manditch, left,  is chairman and chief executive of Islandia-based Empire National Bank, which caters to the needs of small to midsized businesses and nonprofits.

He has also been on the boards of the Thomas Hartman Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and the YMCA of Long Island, and is co-chairman of the honorary board of the Suffolk Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
