Three new Jake’s Wayback Burgers franchises will open on Long Island in the next few months.

East Northport and East Meadow restaurants will open in June, and a Long Beach location will open in July.

The chain, based in Connecticut, plans to more than quadruple in size this year, adding 100 new franchises.

In East Northport, the restaurant will be at 1964 Jericho Tpk.; in East Meadow, at 2306 Hempstead Tpk.; and in Long Beach at 945 West Beech St.

The franchises sell burgers, milk shakes, chicken sandwiches, veggie and turkey burgers, and salads.

Newsday's Joan Reminick really liked the burgers at the Jake's that opened in November in Massapequa.  She wrote, in her ExploreLI Feed Me blog, " the junior cheeseburger I got was juicy and beefy. Potato chips — tasting of nothing more complicated than potatoes and salt — had admirable crunch."
