Toys R Us hiring for 18 pop-up stores on Island

Toys R Us is hiring holiday seasonal workers for at least 18 locations on Long Island for “pop-up” Toys R Us Express stores.

The company’s looking for managers and salespeople. No hiring goals were given for Long Island, but nationwide the company is hiring 10,000 workers for 600 Express stores. On a proportional basis that works out to about 300 new seasonal jobs on Long Island.

The company is also hiring another 35,000 for its regular Toys R Us and Babies R Us stores for the holidays.
