Donald Trump is no longer interested in buying the Engineers Country Club in Roslyn Harbor, a golf industry blogger says.
The blogger, Evan Rothman, says Trump sent a letter to the club board saying “infighting among your members” was the deciding factor. The letter also said Trump was also concerned about potential financial obligations.
He said the Trump organization had been asked to “guarantee unknown and open-ended liabilities --- something which, because of the uncertainties, we cannot agree to do."
