The Long Island Import Export Association will host a dinner conference Thursday in Melville.

Special guests, representing the Transporation Security Administration, will be James Fitzgerald, acting assistant federal security director; and Christopher Zarnitz, a senior cargo inspector.

The event will take place from 5:30 p.m.-9 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel.

Those attending may also take part in an interactive panel discussion on issues faced by importers and exporters, freight forwarders, airlines and the TSA.
