Net revenue: $60.1 million compared with $72.4 million last year.

Company statement: "We are pleased with the Company's 2009 performance, particularly in light of the challenging economic environment which adversely impacted our manufacturing and hotel businesses," chairman A.F. Petrocelli said in a news release.

United Capital owns more than 150 properties in the United States including department stores, shopping centers and office buildings. It owns hotels in upstate Utica, Windsor Locks, Conn., and Atlanta; and the newly renovated Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Hotel and Exhibition Center. It also makes knitted wire products for the automotive, air bag, aerospace and electronic industries.
