Veeco adds to its board
Plainview-based Veeco Instruments Inc. has announced that Thomas Gutierrez has been appointed to its board.
Gutierrez, 62, is president, chief executive and director of GT Solar International Inc., a provider of polysilicon production technology based in Merrimack, N.H.
Veeco chief executive John R. Peeler, above left, praised Gutierrez’ “broad, global technology background.”
