The board of directors of Melville-based Verint Systems Inc. this week disclosed to federal regulators the salary increase and annual bonus awarded to its chief executive, Dan Bodner.

Bodner's 2009 bonus is $780,072; and his $600,000 annual base pay will be raised to $650,000 beginning May 1, the company said. Bodner was also granted options for 150,000 shares of company stock.

Verint, a data analysis software maker with about 1,200 employees, trades on the Pink Sheets. It closed Monday at $24.40.

In February, Verint told federal regulators that it had negotiated a new two-year employment contract with Bodner, agreeing to pay him a $600,000 annual base salary for the first year. The contract has a provision for one-year renewals after it expires in 2012.
