Verint Systems Inc. has acquired Contact Solutions, a Reston, Virginia, provider of cloud-based voice and mobile customer care services for businesses.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In a news release on Monday, Melville-based Verint said the self-service and analytics systems of Contact Solutions would add to its current array of contact-center products.

“We believe demand for these types of solutions is being driven in organizations by the need for intelligence that enables them to create more engaged workforces and more seamless, personalized customer experiences,” Elan Moriah, president of Verint Enterprise Intelligence Solutions and Verint Video and Situation Intelligence Solutions, said in a statement.

Verint is Long Island’s largest publicly traded software maker by annual sales. Contact Solutions was funded by private equity.
