The Melville-based software maker Verint Systems Inc. said Monday that it has won product of the year awards from two trade magazines, Customer Interaction Solutions and Internet Telephony.

The awards were for its Enterprise Workforce Management system, and its Impact 360 Recording software.

The criteria included innovation and customer success.

The workforce management system is used at telephone call centers, commercial branch offices and back-office operations. It analyzes voice, video and other data to improve worker efficiency and customer interaction.

The Impact 360 Recording software was honored for its quality, innovation and reliability, Verint said. It helps businesses record transactions for financial and other regulatory requirements, for liability management and to ensure staff adherence to company standards.

Verint’s shares, which opened Monday at $28.34, have ranged in value from $22.50 to $37.99 in the past year. It is controlled by its major stockholder, Comverse Technology Inc., of Manhattan.
