Veterans can get job-search help at Northwell workshop
Military veterans can get job-search help at a workshop in Garden City on Oct. 5.
The event will take place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Cradle of Aviation Museum on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard.
At the Barracks to Business: Translating Military Skills into Careers Success Workshops, veterans can get assistance writing resumes, interviewing and meeting recruiters.
The workshop is offered by the Nassau and Suffolk county veteran service agencies and by the Lake Success-based Northwell Health hospital system, New York’s largest private employer.
