Job fair for people with disabilities Friday in Albertson

The Viscardi Center, an Albertson-based network of nonprofits that provides services to children and adults with disabilities, will sponsor a job fair on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The fair, at 201 I.U. Willets Road, aims to help people with disabilities, including veterans, find jobs. About 70 employers are expected to participate and more than 200 job candidates are expected to attend.
A seminar entitled “Tips for Developing a Disability Inclusive Workplace Culture” will precede the career fair from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Table setup and breakfast will kick off the free event from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. For more information, call 516-465-1546.
