A West Babylon firefighting equipment company has become a dealer representative for E-One, a maker of fire rescue vehicles.

Nassau Fire Apparatus will exclusively represent E-One, of Ocala, Fla., on Long Island.

"We require our new dealers to have reputations for customer service, a wealth of knowledge and experience in our industry," George Logan, an E-One vice president, said in an announcement this week.

He said Nassau Fire meets those standards and has nearly 50 years of experience in selling emergency vehicles. He said it also has a 15,000-square foot facility, nine full-time emergency vehicle technicians, four certified welders, seven road service trucks, two full-time sales managers and a 17-person sales team. --
