Wells Fargo offers help to homeowners hard-hit by Sandy
Long Island homeowners with Wells Fargo mortgages whose properties were damaged during superstorm Sandy can get help at a drop-in center in Lindenhurst through Saturday.
Bank representatives will be available at 210 South Wellwood Ave. from Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bank representatives are trained to help mortgage-holders with processing insurance checks and discussing payment assistance options.
Mortgage customers can make an appointment by calling 800-405-8067 or by visiting www.wellsfargo.com/care. Walk-in customers are also welcome.
