PENN YAN, N.Y. — In a story published April 23, 2025, The Associated Press reported that climate change was one of the factors forcing Hunt Country Vineyards to consider tough choices for its future, and that the vineyard would close at the end of the year. The story should have made clear that the closing was in part so that the owner could spend all of her time helping other farms and businesses implement sustainability practices.
