Workshops for companies, developers, nonprofits on state aid

The Long Island Regional Economic Development Council will hold two free workshops for companies, developers and not-for-profit organizations that are seeking state business aid. Participants will learn about the Consolidated Funding Application process and how to compete for a portion of up to $750 million in grants and state tax credits from state agencies.
The application deadline is July 29 at 4 p.m.
The first workshop is Monday, May 9, from 1 – 3:30 p.m., at Hofstra University’s David S. Mack Student Center, 360 Hofstra University in Hempstead. Register at http://on.ny.gov/1Tt60dh.
The second workshop is June 7, 2-4:30 p.m., at Stony Brook University’s Charles B. Wang Center, 400 Circle Rd. in Stony Brook. Register at http://on.ny.gov/1UwakgD.
