Volkswagen of America is recalling about 71,000 new 2011 Jetta sedans for a potential problem with wiring that could cause the car to shut off when the horn is used. (March 28, 2011) Credit: Getty Images

HERNDON, Va. -- Volkswagen of America is recalling about 71,000 of its 2011 Jettas in order to reconfigure wiring related to its alarm system and horn.

According to Crave, a gadget blog, a wiring issue can cause the car to turn off if the horn is activated. Translation, honk at that straggler at the green light and you might become a straggler.

No injuries or accidents have been reported.

Owners will receive notification by mail, the company said.
