Bugatti Veyron SS on the Top Gear test track

The original Bugatti Veyron can be considered the greatest automobile that has ever been or ever will be built. But it wasn't the fastest 'round the old Top Gear track. Now VW has built a new one.

The Super Sport's bigger turbos and intercoolers boost the horsepower to 1,183 and it's also a bit lighter. I guess that makes it the fast one.

So, in case you missed it, TG host James May got to take the new Super Sport for a top speed run. (warning: he does use a few curse words - mostly quaint British slang, but also the "a" word)
