Free auto repair classes for women

A Flushing Queens repair shop is offering free auto repair classes to women. Details below.

WHO: Hosted by Audra Fordin. Audra owns Great Bear Auto Repair and Auto Body Shop in Flushing, Queens. She is a female auto repair and auto body shop owner and certified auto mechanic-- think Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny...but better.

WHAT: Workshop called "What Women Auto-Know" to educate and empower women about basic car repair. This workshop is ideal for women, college students, girls, young and old -- (but guys, you can come too). Drinks, finger foods and sushi will be served.

WHEN: Saturday, November 20th from 3:30-4:30PM

Donations are accepted but not expected. Donations go to help repair the car of working women who need to drive for work and cannot afford to have it fixed.
