Gas prices on LI compared to other U.S. areas
Gas prices on Long Island have eclipsed $3 per gallon for the first time in more than 3 years, according to data from AAA. Area residents aren’t the only ones dealing with pain at the pump; those in other states are also seeing rising prices across the country. Here’s the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Nassau and Suffolk counties compared to other parts of the country as of June 12. (Numbers have been rounded from AAA data.)
