WHAT MAKES IT INTERESTING
Porschephiles have prized the 911 since it came to America more than 37 years ago. Over that time, the car – with its high-powered, six-cylinder rear engine and curvaceous lines -- has undergone regular, but subtle, design and mechanical changes so the lineage is obvious if you place one of the early versions next to a new 2012 model. Miller’s all-black convertible is a pristine, 15,000-mile original. “It is my third 911 that I had during my life,” he says. “I now only use it on nice days.”
