Long Island museum's new carriage galleries perfect for auto enthusiasts

Long Island Museum of American Art, History & Carriages: A large collection of carriages on display in multiple galleries offers a close look at personal transportation before the gasoline engine. Two new carriage galleries opened there last spring. There is also an authentic 19th century carriage-making shop.
