On ebay: "The Pizza Man" Corvette
I've never really disliked Corvettes but it was always hard for me to find a favorite. I was overexposed to the '57 during the 1980s. The new Stingray is great, but not really my style. Now I can say that this, this one's my favorite. This 1954 model was raced by Earl Britt, owner of Earl's Pizza Palace. It's powered by an inline 6 with three Weber side-draft carburators and tore up the dragstrip in the late '60s and early '70s. There's something really dopey and awesome about vintage drag slicks on Corvette. The "Pizza Man" now for sale on ebay for $225,000.
