The 1884 De Dion Bouton Et Trepardoux Dos-A-Dos Steam Runabout sold at RM Auctions last Friday for $4.62 million.

This French pre-owned steam-powered vehicle won the first ever automobile race in 1887. It also has one of the longest names of any steam-powered runabout in France.
